What do you need to let go of?
This should be the question you ask during every full moon phase. Why?
Because we hold on to way too many things, long past their expiration date. Are you still paying for a service that you’re not really leveraging to it’s max potential?

What I always loved about May was how it served the purpose of being a milestone month. I always use this month as the deadline for anything that needs to get created because once those endless sunshine days come (eventually 😒) I don’t want to do anything indoors.
I’m always thinking of how I can work my magic from some quaint outdoor cafe on a hidden cobblestone road, and with these specific details, I’m realistically looking at having to travel internationally to find that perfect spot so I always use May to ask myself…is my business truly virtual?
Like, could I do what I do from anywhere in the world?
I asked this question a few years back and every May I revisit my brand + business. I ask myself that first question I posed to you at the beginning of this email.
What do I need to let go of in order to have the business model that allows me to travel internationally?
This full moon is in Scorpio, which is kinda co-parented by Mars and Pluto. Mars is all about action and Pluto is all about transformation so let’s put 2 and 2 together.
What do you need to let go of in order to initiate the transformation you need?
As a brand strategist, I’m always well aware of seasons. I work with brand seasons, business seasons, and incorporate those into the general mainstream season that everyone else recognizes.
What are your brand and business seasons?
Brand seasons are when you align with your own rhythms and work your magic according to YOUR own ebbs and flow.
Personally, my peek season for creation is late winter. I hibernate and during that time I walk away with a new program, website, or product.
Summers are when I’m naturally inclined to relax making this the perfect time to sell products, meet clients locally, and teach workshops. Summer time is also when I’m best suited for showing up in person.
Fall is when I’m preparing for the following year. This is when I’m best suited for long term programs and forecasting for the new year.
I’m still on the fence about how to best leverage Spring since I’m always in and out of medical appointments during that season. Go figure.
Why is any of this important?
Because your brand is tethered to YOU and how YOU best operate is key for honoring your brand seasons.
Now, this can be different from your business season.
When are your customers making most of their purchases?
Is it during the Nov-Dec holiday season? Early January? Spring months, thanks to those tax refund checks?
If you need help figuring out what to let go of during this Scorpio Full Moon, let go of what you think you know about timing.
Create a Venn diagram that integrates your brand season with your business season so that you can plan according to what will work best for you.
Reflect on your energy during the entire 12 months of the year and rate each month.
What is best FOR YOU to do from January through December?
Once you’ve outlined that, integrate what works best for your business and industry.
Now think about how do your brand and business seasons correlate with the 4 seasons that we’re all accustomed to?
Are you better suited to put all of your mojo into certain times of the years?
For example, if your personal peak energy time for creating is in the summer but your market tends to shop the most around Valentine’s Day, then how do you manage your work flow with that insight?
Once you get the hang of going with this perspective, brand strategy planning gets easier. You just takes some creative thinking, an open mind, and the kind of crazy optimism that we know you already possess since, you know, you’re already doing this crazy thing trying to do life + business on your own terms. 😉
